Spectacular Cherry Blossoms in Yorkshire 2022

From April, pink and white petals of cherry blossoms make up spectacular floral displays along many roads and streets in Yorkshire, England. These following places are suggested to you either you are a cherry blossom fan or simply a nature lover.

1. The Stray, Harrogate

Location: 16 West Park, Harrogate, HG1 1BJ

The Stray looks stunning with rows of cherry blossom trees flowering in pink in spring. It would not be surprised why this best-known landmark of Harrogate, which opens to public all days, attracts so many visitors every year. The Stray is always one of the best places to see cherry blossoms in the UK by its breathtaking views. There are several parking spots nearby the Stray which are very convenient for visitors travelling by car.

2. Cliffe Castle Museum & Park, Keighley

Location: 15 Spring Gardens Lane, Keighley, BD20 6LJ

Cliffe Castle Museum & Park includes museum, park and garden is a fantastic place to visit for everyone. The castle is located in a park on the outskirts of Keighley which is not far from Keighley railway station and bus station. There are entertainment facilities in the park including children’s play area, fountains, small lake, café and aviary. Visitors have free entry to the park and the museum and free parking plots which are just as amazing as the Castle itself.

3. Wellholme Park, Brighouse

Location: Bradford Road, Brighouse, HD6 4AA

The park which is not far away from Brighouse town centre is a wonderful place for a day out with your family. There are playgrounds in the park where you and your kids can enjoy playful time with each other. Wellholme Park is also a nice place to take a walk around with your friends or dogs. If you travel by car, you can easily find a parking place at Tesco’s car park on the right-hand side of the park.

4. Shibden Park, Halifax

Location: Godley Lane, Halifax, HX3 6XG

Shibden Park is always my favourite park in Halifax which is just six minutes away from Halifax town centre by bus. The park is well-known for its spectacular views with a small but very long mere with rowing boats, birds and swans. Visitors can also take a miniature train (land train) to travel around for sightseeing or to get to Shibden Hall where TV series “Gentleman Jack” were filmed. There are two car parks, a playground and a mereside café for visitors. The park looks amazing with cherry blossom flowering in spring, and striking with rows of trees covered by yellow leaves in autumn. Shibden Park is also my must-go place in autumn time every year.
