Visit Lavender Fields in England

The best time to visit stunning lavender fields in England is between mid-July and late August.

1. Mayfield Lavender Farm, Surrey

Mayfield lavender Farm is the Surrey’s loveliest Lavender field, located in South London. I first visited the field in mid-July 2019 with friends. My first impression about the field was that it was a real heaven with breath-taking view of vibrant lilac flowers. Mayfield Lavender Farm looks as stunning as other famous lavender fields in France.

Mayfield Lavender Farm, a stunning attraction for a photo shoot

One of the things that I really like about the field, apart from the beautiful and strong-scented herbs is that visitors can have car parking free and no pre-booking is required to visit the farm.

Other activities including evening yoga classes are also organised at the dreamy lavender field. This Surrey’s famous attraction is also an ideal place to host a private party. This makes the Mayfield Lavender Farm even more enjoyable.

2. Yorkshire Lavender Farm, York

We have visited Yorkshire Lavender Farm almost every year since we first discovered the Yorkshire’s original family-run farm in 2016.

Yorkshire Lavender Farm is located far away from York city center. However, there is another worth visiting attraction near the lavender farm is Castle Howard.

The tearoom and giftshop are always my must-go places at Yorkshire Lavender Farm.

For this year, visitors need to buy admission tickets to enter the field until 31^st August and can have free admission after that until 25^th September. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at arrival.
