Sunflower Fields in England

August is the best time to see sunflowers in the UK. This blog article suggests two beautiful sunflower fields in England.

1. The Pop Up Farm

The Pop Up Farm is a family-run and pick your own experience farm in Hertfordshire. Visitors can have a great day out with family or friends by picking their own sunflowers, sweetcorn and pumpkins at the farm seasonally.

I visited the farm in late August 2019 when sunflowers were in full bloom. That was a huge field with different types of sunflowers. The pick-your-own experience was very interesting.

Visitors could select and pay for their favorite sunflowers at the farm and a farm assistant would help them to cut the flowers. This mean that visitors could pick as many fresh and beautiful sunflowers as possible with reasonable price and take home with them.

For this year the farm is anticipated to open in the second half of August. You can update tickets on sale on their Facebook page.

2. Sunflower Field in The Confetti Flower Field

We visited the sunflower field there in late August last year and we would love to return to the field in future. That was a magical experience to walk through many acres of smiling sunflowers which created an incredible spectacle.

Visitors could buy sunflowers in front of the field. That was a great idea to have some photos with your fresh sunflowers. The amazing field was also a fantastic backdrop for a photoshoot.

Although it is unlucky that there will not be a Sunflower field in summer 2022, hopefully the sunflower field will open again in following years.
